Incense

The centuries old craft of Japanese Incense making was originally enjoyed only by nobility as an elegant pastime. Today, the traditional recipes and methods are still being used, elevating our lives through the sublime fragance of burning fragrant woods and spices. Most of the Japanese incense we carry are stickless, allowing one to burn only pure incense in a variety of scents to please every palate. The two companies we regularly carry are both the makers and importers of their exclusive lines!

Nippon Kodo, Japan. While we enjoy exploring with their many lines of incense, the ones we stock time & again are Herb & Earth, Morning Star, Cafe Time and Naturense. During the holiday season we also carry a wider selection of gift sets.
Shoyeido, Japan. This company also makes a wide variety of incense lines from the traditional to those designed to please a western nose. Perhaps our favorite is their line called Daily Incense.

We also carry a select assortment of stick incense from India and rope incense from Nepal.
